India via Nepal: Agony of a Former Conduit (1/2)
A deep dive into "Chakaris & Badhyata" of a wanton stooge on the eve of a historical visit by Nepal's PM to India
It’s an interesting time in Nepal with both her neighbors working hard to emerge as two prosperous nations in the aftermath of the biggest scare to humankind in the last 100 years. The mood is not to leave Nepal behind and not let her get caught up in the geopolitical maelstrom even when the two nations go fist to fist against each other to settle old disputes or play partners. Such is the nature of geopolitics these days canvassing two ends of the spectrum with several tracks simultaneously being played, which at times, may appear confusing. However, there are political battles, population hearts to be won and shared cultural heritage reboots with different connotations to the perceiver. Right in the thick of things, Nepal’s other guardians keep an eye out and play their part to make sure there’s no sidestepping the intent or to wake her people up when Nepal-ese/is fall asleep like babes in the wood jibe during Rajiv Ghandy’s era.
Nepal herself is in the cusp of turning laggard economic fortunes into prosperity, intentionally stagnated potential that could have ushered in economical prosperity many moons ago. Only until a few years ago, every Nepalis were found scratching their heads to find out why Nepal faced blackouts1 and no clean water to drink for the majority of it’s population, in spite of abundant rivers only second to amazon. The potential has finally found kinetics and in the process of being realized giving sleepless nights within Nepal to those who intricately designed their own prosperity sucking out Nepal’s blood with foot on both camps charting off a course to aid the worst phase in South Asia history.
Nehru’s 1962 war reparation families2 in Nepal to indemnify for losses are stooges from the same stable (Colloquial Nepali: Tabela) that continue to make the most noise harping back on memories of a singular leader jostling for generational and operational controls in Nepal regions adjoining Bihar and West Bengal. The misrepresented Voice of South Asia from Nepal is finally shown his true place by mere indifference of visiting dignitaries of the region. Such is the ego of the artifice.
Nepal earns as long as water flow, yet they burn and start pelting stones (Colloquial Nepali: Dhunga-hana.) Nepal observers, pay close attention to this trait. You’re 🫵🏻 on a ride to witness a wolf in sheep’s clothing in Nepal.
What prompted us to write this article is the two part series from The Wire: India in Nepal and India in South Asia by a author in Nepal masquerading as an intellectual, history, cultural buff coated with dripping veneer of business persona; all a product of generational political patronage. For some reason, all hastily abandoned or transitioning businesses in Nepal come under his coterie direct controls and that has been surprising to a lot of us. In any case, both the articles are full of gaping holes, self-contradicting, jabs at opponents, subservience to masters(Colloquial Nepali: Dana Suppliers), reeks of envy, self-gratifying and sending feelers to those not in power to gang up and raise decibel levels3. All this effort to drown a momentous occasion in Nepal when power supply and cross border payment deals that would pay dividends to Nepal for the longest time are to be inked. A moment he has played a big part in trying to strong arm. Let’s break it down.
The author has qualms with official press notes and reporting agencies amplifying the message to inform citizens calling it diktat and collectively tries to bucket South Asian sentiments as a feeling of being intruded upon pleading for a softer suffering. How is a press note an intrusion or gatekeepers relaying hardened message that has him and his cabal in disarray? He still manages to send feelers that his journalistic avatar is needed regionally for Modi to become a Vishwa-guru and not to strip him off his birth right taking in young crop of journalists on their own merit under the wings.
General public in Nepal hopes he gets a resounding: In your wet dreams!, or a mollified version: After you return ALL ill-acquired asset back to GoN—plead to the families in Nepal you tried to destroy, hounding them out any place they lived in cahoots with people you have been covert business partners with! How many of the “identified properties” you are covert partners in the process of being sold before our elections in 2025 for campaign fund campaigns in Bihar & West Bengal? Start returning them to the rightful owners first and then we’ll talk! What is your role in Air India plane hijacking incident in 1999 during Christmas? We see that you are more than just a scribe with South Asian connect. What is your role in hastily pushing for Mahakali Treaty during our World Record 13 day government? Are you trying to hit out and strike a compromise with unfortunate Dhami rope accident? What is your role in transporting rakhtachandan using Bihar, Mirchaiya, Bardibas, Dhulikhel route? What is your role in Nepal Red Cross giving bad name to Nepal guardians? How many people did you help get out of addiction in your Youth Vision centers or was this a ploy to break families apart? Why are you being ungrateful when we chose you to head the only spinal injury center in Nepal? You think we don’t have Thuraya’s taped transcript? Are you using Morse code now and custom antenna as receiver? What is the frequency?
The author’s fixation with India’s intelligence units such as RAW, NSA and IB are over the top. He fears their presence in Nepal like a thief scared of police. If this man is able to get wind of intelligence agencies operating in Nepal, they must not be doing a good job or he must have internals in the group they are working with.4 Must have finally dawned upon him that he’s persona non-grata when preparing tight knit cases beyond the borders with their Nepali counterparts. Must be disheartened that in years preceding the current GoI, he was the first one to receive the memo.
Let’s walk down the memory lane on why this could be happening. In year 2008 there was Noida Double murder case followed by Mumbai Terrorist incident in a few months. Then there was Pune German Bakery incident in 2010. At least two of the incidents prominently figured Nepalis as victims with huge uproar in India. Important to note that the then German Bakery in India had over 80% staff from Nepal. Then there was series of arrests of terrorist residing within Nepal in 2013, 2017 and 2018 with duration longer enough to build a ground network protected by people in power and human pawns in and out of Nepal. Natural for security agencies to probe, keep abreast on the trails and an eye out to make sure no untoward actions come to fruition in South Asia or anywhere globally. These operational flair with raw details polished for public display by diplomats posted in Foreign Offices and that is exactly what is happening. Nothing that would hint at diplomacy needing rescue or broader malaise unless the author or his cohorts have landed themselves in the soup.
BJP/RSS: A group standing in the way to their larger designs
His next attempt is to tarnish India’s political party finally bringing the cartographers of Nepal’s People War under microscope. The mappers were once empowered to paint a picture of instability in the region for brownie points, give asylum credibility with exodus, prepare voided grounds by gerrymandering and to carry forward their larger design in the works for multiple generations now, often times halted and paused during fickle presence by adversaries in power corridors in last 30 years. Watch closely and you will find uncanny similarities in their reactions working hard to shift blame to their adversaries in BJP/RSS.
The cartographers have now stooped to a level where passing personal remarks and deriding customary rakhee showcasing sister-brother protection relationship by dignitaries, is commonplace and regarded intellectual weights. To us it simply reeks of envy and a hit back tactics of a persona non-gratis.
Each time the modules in Nepal executed their part of the plan, they enriched themselves and their families slowly destroying societies at large and breaking families apart. Massacre of Nepal’s Royal Family in 2001 was a symbolic win over Sanatana Dharma5 in Nepal which has been the way of life for as long as the nation has existed. Under the covers of mayhem, Nepal started loosing a lot of it's cultural artifacts and scriptures denying her citizens a proud cultural heritage. The same scriptures are now being translated and understood to find unanswered questions in science and computing giving it a scientific temperament which was said to be lacking earlier. It all appears to be a role of the same network. During the incident in 2001 there were also similar tunes way out west of Kathmandu painting a grim situation across the region. Fast forward to 2011 and we had similar incidents all over again. Security agencies on both sides and everywhere are wary of this by now, work in tandem to not let it happen again in some other form.
LPG: Lobbying Persons Group
To call anyone eminent in the EPG group would be a misnomer. There is a growing clamor by Nepali public to rename it to LPG ( L = Lobbyist) and just let it sit there hanging high and dry—just like cross border power stagnation for years. Only the EPG group formation was agreed upon with members never listed anyways. The new age demography in Nepali public have seen enough of these shady personnel only to get back rotten aura emanating. Out with the old, in with the new is what opinion polls say. Let the under the bridge brigade (UBB) write bylines where ever they wish with assurances of implementation after the cultural bridge construction is complete. Days of free wine and dine, blank check, ghost writers and everything that tagged along is far from over. Now, only credibility based on performance is toast of the nation and justly granted audience.
From Pundit Nehru to backward caste Modi, the author pulls out BP Koirala’s picture with JP Narayan after all else failed under India’s Indira, vignettes of PM Gujral’s doctrine further sowing seeds of uncertainty. However, the author conveniently forgets India’s Computer Scientist Rajiv Gandhi prior to Gujral and his tryst in Nepal followed by shower-man in raincoat, PM Manmohan Singh, who paid no heed and let precious investigation years pass when reminded of a sinister plot by the Communists of India against Nepal. Also makes no remarks on how the 1999 hijacking incident and Kargil War that followed took away precious resources away from guarding Nepal-India border that ultimately resulted in a Palace massacre incident in 2001, Godhra Train Burning incident of 2002 and debacle that followed keeping Vajpayee’s government on it’s toes. We did not expect an author with decades of experience across multiple disciplines under his belt to miss these various telling Indo-Nepal moments when penning this thoughts on “India in Nepal.”
From Kargil War to the Kalikas and Durbars to Durgas of East Nepal. The sinister plot and beneficiaries on both sides of the border are being calculated and their part in the sins calibrated minutely. So the fear is understandable.

There were efforts in the late 80s by Nepal’s guardians and were putting in the ground work building substation which somehow did not come to fruition until 40+ years later
In comes Sajha and the rest is history until recently when the Premier of North decided to undo the damage in Nepal after getting wind of what was happening under the covers
There’s also one more incident that happened in India with a set pattern to down the moment that involves Nepalis which these two articles may likely be a part of in a series of events. Will wait until investigations are complete. The author may be a part of a broader conspiracy.
OR is he simply passing covert message via articles? 🤔
some of us at NI believe that the massacre had a 2x benefits to the one executing it… Symbolic win over Sanatana and financial benefits internationally. So, there was more incentives to the stooges in Nepal.
